David Paine Architects follows David's six years working for the influential conservation practice Purcell. As Project Architect David was responsible for many projects, attaining diverse experience of the many complexities that often arise when working with listed buildings. During this time David developed a keen eye for executing new build interventions within a historic context, a number of examples can be seen on our projects page. 

 

During his employment with Purcell, David also undertook significant repair projects to some of the countries finest public buildings, most notably the external repairs project at Knole House, Sevenoaks and the repairs to the cast iron roofs at the Palace of Westminster. 

 

David maintains his registration with the Architects Registration Board and also Chartered Membership with the Royal Institute of British Architects.
